Fellows are required to submit progress reports to TÜBİTAK according to the timeline specified in the Grant Agreement, aligned with the work plan proposed during the application phase. At the end of the fellowship, a final report must be submitted, covering all scientific, technical, administrative, and financial aspects and outcomes of the project.
Progress reports must be submitted within two weeks of the due date, and the final report must be submitted within one month of its deadline. Each progress report must include a financial report that details and justifies expenditures for the relevant period. Failure to submit progress reports on time may result in the suspension of the fellowship by the Steering Committee (SC).
Reports are reviewed by independent experts. If a report is considered unsatisfactory, revisions will be requested. Fellows may also be invited to TÜBİTAK for project updates or subject to on-site monitoring visits.
If the host institution is a private sector organization, both progress and final reports must be approved by a certified public accountant. For universities, only the final report requires such approval.
Final reports are either accepted or rejected based on expert evaluations and the SC’s decision. The project is deemed complete only upon the acceptance of the final report. If rejected, cancellation provisions will be applied accordingly. Any remaining funds in the project account must be returned to TÜBİTAK’s CoCirculation3 account after project completion.
Fellows may also use BİDEB-PTS for uploading their reports online.
