Training Program

One of the key objectives of the CoCirc3 program is to equip fellows with high-quality scientific, professional, and transferable skills to help them become future leaders and innovators in European research. Each fellow is required to develop a Career Development Plan (CDP), outlining their training goals, including both existing skills they wish to deepen and new competencies they aim to acquire. TÜBİTAK appoints a dedicated Career Development Manager (CDM), who will monitor training activities and ensure they align with the fellow’s CDP. Training progress will be assessed through midterm and final questionnaires, and feedback from mentors will help identify additional upskilling or reskilling needs.

Training will be provided at local and network-wide levels, including scientific, technical, and transferable skills. Fellows will have access to courses in their field, with a special focus on the Green Deal, and will be supported in attending seminars, conferences, secondments, and industry-related programs like TÜBİTAK BİGG. Complementary skills training will cover areas such as grant writing, project management, IPR, open science, communication, and gender aspects. Four major network-wide training events will also be organized, including sessions on Horizon Europe, CDP mentorship, entrepreneurship, and leadership in diverse research environments. The tentative list of main trainings events and conferences are given below:
