In line with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct, TÜBİTAK ensures that working conditions comply with relevant national, regional, and sectoral legislation. All CoCirculation3 fellows will be employed under a fixed-term employment contract in accordance with the Turkish Employment Act (Law No. 4857 of 2003), which applies to all employees in Türkiye. Fellows will be fully covered under the national Social Security Institution (SGK) scheme and will enjoy the same social benefits as Turkish citizens. Labour and social security regulations in Türkiye are aligned with the standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and other widely accepted international norms. CoCirculation3 fellows will be subject to the same statutory working conditions as other staff members at host institutions holding comparable positions. All fellows must be granted access to the laboratory and/or office space required for the proper execution of their research projects, along with full access to necessary infrastructure and equipment. They are also entitled to participate in conferences and scientific events that contribute to their professional development. CoCirculation3 fellows will receive a salary that is, on average, higher than that of researchers in equivalent positions. By offering highly attractive financial conditions, TÜBİTAK aims to attract excellent and well-qualified researchers from around the world.
